Vendex is a DJ and producer born in Barcelona, whose path in electronic music began at the age of 14 when he started mixing, and in 2016 to produce various genres and subgenres. Currently, he focuses on techno, especially in its darker sides such as Dark Techno, Industrial Techno, Acid and Hard Techno. During the summers, he grew up in Ibiza, where his family resided, being exposed to a wide variety of artists and genres that influenced his unique style. Today, he has found his way into techno, guided by a philosophy that envelops him in an aura of darkness and depth. Inspired by Dante Alighieri's literary work, “The Divine Comedy”, and elements related to alchemy, Vendex uses his music as a means to take his listeners on an introspective journey. This path is wrapped in somber melodies and punchy bass lines that break the boundaries of the natural, playing sounds that evoke the supernatural and the underworld. Their goal is to capture the Dantesque idea of a journey through the circles of hell, purgatory and paradise, through an enveloping and forceful sound that connects with the deepest part of the listener. Vendex takes inspiration from big names in techno such as Dax J, Parallx, I Hate Models, Scalameriya, Ancient Methods, Tommy Four Seven and Setaoc Mass, among others, to create sets full of intensity, darkness and originality.
